Tonight's 2nd session at the Pizza Oven Classic got me thinking about this. Who is the best sophomore point guard in the county?

I like how Evans is developing, but I would still take Clarke no question about it....his shooting was off just a little tonight, but his defense, passing and driving ability make up for it. Evans is a good ball handler, but doesnt have break away speed and the shot...yet.

Wow, not even a debate. Clarke is head and shoulders better than Evans.

After the Hoover/Jackson game I would have said Clarke no doubt but after the WGH game I think its closer than most think but Ill give it to Clarke for now.

Evans is extremely overrated in my opinion. He never earned his starting spot. As soon as 8th grade was over he was the starter. I'm not saying he wasn't good enough however everything has been handed to him from Montgomery. I like niles. I just feel that he's been extremely pampered. And Clarke is just flat out better than niles.
We'll see in two years when they are seniors...

I like Clarke. One thing I do like about Evans though, hes (almost) automatic from the FT line. At least it seemed that way against McKinley.

Niles is a better shooter and decision maker, he makes the simple play and doesn't do all that unnecessary fantasy stuff. While Clark is the better college prospect and has more size. Right now I give the nod to Niles because of his consistency and how he makes he hoover team go. He really was the only person who could handle pressure vs. McKinley and when he went out Hoover couldn't get the ball pass half court, thats wen MCK made their run. Clarke has all the intangibles to be the better player but has not lived up to it this year. When Niles matures and grows he may be the better prospect.
