West is clearly the best team in the GMC maybe even the city or state. Princeton can challenge them but not enough pitching. Mason could surprise people and oak hills is usually has some pretty good athletes

West is not clearly the best team in the GMC. I think Oak Hills will be the best team in the GMC this year, and I am not associated with Oak Hills at all I just know what kind of talent they have there. Princeton won't finish in the top half of the league.

West has the best pitching staff with Smith, Barnes and beaver. good pitching beats good hitting in high school and west one the GMC last year with smith doing most of the work and he's back. Nothing against Oak Hills i just think West has another chance to contend for state again

Oak Hills wins it this year. Raleigh, Bender, Burkhoffer, Malloy, Proctor are to good to not win the league. Oak Hills is flat out stacked this year. It is b/w Oak Hills and Badin for best team in the Cincinnati this year, they both are loaded with talent.

I agree with you on Oak Hills being one of the top 2 in the city, but not Badin. With Mckinney on the mound they are. Without him on the mound, as someone else put it on here, their pitching would be average for D1. Their offense gets shut down when they play the GCL South and face good pitching. Shut out by Elder and Moeller last year and scored 1 run against Lasalle. Yes they hammered X, but they did not see Ollier or Hollstegge and Mckinney shut the X offense down. Like I said, they can beat anyone when he pitches but would be an average D1 team when he doesn't.

I think the pitching staff of Raleigh, Bender, Birkoffer, Hager, is as good or better. Just my opinion. I those two games will be battles, and if one of the teams can sweep the other, they will probably win the conference.

West has 3 D1 baseball pitchers. Barnes and smith being there best. But it will be a close race between west, oak hills and east. Mason and princeton being sleeper teams IMO. GMC is the best conference in Cincinnati this year with the GCL being down. When do Oak hills and West play each other?

West and Oak Hills play Wednesday April 8 @ Oak Hills and Thursday April 9 @ West.

...GMC is the best conference in Cincinnati this year with the GCL being down...
IMO, GMC is almost always the best conference in Cincinnati if you consider conferences as a whole. If you consider divisions, then GCL South is typically at or near the top - probably the FAVC Buckeye would be thrown in there occasionally in a given year.
But as an entire conference, it's pretty hard to argue with the GMC as the top, or near the top, every year. They just don't have the number of weak teams that the GCL has. 3 league games a week and the top teams still play tough out-of-conference teams in there as well.

What seniors/ standouts does Lakota East return this year?

I think they should have a GMC/GCL challenge like they do in basketball. It would be fun to watch and see how the conferences do against each other. Most of the teams will play a team or 2 from the other conference during the year so I doubt this idea would ever happen. The GMC is more balanced year in and year out but the top teams in the GCL are usually better than the top GMC teams except this year b/c Oak Hills is stacked and I think they are the top team in the state.
