Just Wanted To Get Some Insight On What Others Think About Some Of The Areas Leagues Having Teams With An Hour Drive Between Them. Especially When There Are So Many Local Teams That Are Competitive. The League Im Most Familiar With Is The Pac 8 (cvca All The Way To Tusky Valley And Triway) With So Many Schools Struggling To Pass Levies And The Ailing Economy, Wouldnt It Be Wise To Rethink Some Of These Leagues?

Well actually with gas going from $4.00 a gallon to $1.50-2.00, travel may not be the biggest concern. The cost gas decreasing 50% is bigger than any stimulus package to the economy, but the problem is that alomst 700,000 people lost their jobs last quarter.

The biggest threat to schools is the state budget. Because the state is facing a deficit of 10 Billion for the 2010-11 fiscal year, the most basic education services are in danger if not addressed by the President and state officials.
