Well, they did lose eight seinors, although they do have a strong core group of players returning. They should have another very successful season.

After watching my son play at Ursuline the last three years on varsity it has been a pleasure to play CCC. Those seniors they had last year have had the greatest past couple seasons I've ever seen. I'm always scared every time we play CCC. Doug Miller is a great coach and always fields teams that will always contend for a state title no matter what kind of athletes are on the team. He will have them ready to go next year and I can't wait to follow them. Best of Luck CCC! The players of next year have some big shoes to fill!!!!!

I would say there are 3 games here that you mentioned that are BIG games. This is a better schedule than the past...but they still will play the Sat DH's against the PAC teams that they will put up 30 runs on and so forth.

actually they play two double headers this year. The four teams they play in those double headers are hudson, sandusky perkins, new philadelphia, and north royalton.

That seems like a pretty good schedule so far. Hudson and Perkins are always good. I think Dover had a pretty decent team and Perry should be tough. St Eds, Ignatius and Walsh are loaded and probably all 3 are potential state champs. Those are all pretty big games!

Hudson and Perkins will be down. Dover is not going to be good at all and Perry will be overrated as usual. The 3 teams you said will be state champs are loaded and should win easily throughout the year.

central lost colaner CF hoagland RF roman 2B weisel C donatelli EH McCoury P/3b/1b and a few seniors that had minimal playing time

They will build their pitching staff around Baker Myers and Snopel with baker being the ace

the return Lindesmith at SS, Keller at third Marzec in left

Biggest concern is catcher the only real considerable candidate is soph alex grove

weisel was a huge part of the team... miller had full trust in him

not only will that pressure be on the young soph grove but the pressure of his brother being another phenomenal ctacher at central...i believe there was a huge article on him his senior year in the rep?

central allways puts together a good team and is always one of the first games on the schedual i look for. they will be tough with 3 stud pitchers in baker myers and snopel.

baseball2227

yes there pitching willl tough but if they dont have a solid catcher like weisel was last year, they wont be as good.they have to have someone back there to call a game and recieve the pitches.

He wasn't calling Hairball a legend, he (baseball227) was asking legend39 who Hairball was.
