Baseball Fees For Select Baseball

What kind of up front fees do most 17-18 year old select baseball players have to pay up front to be on the select team and what teams charge little or nothing to play at this age level.

Last year we paid a $1,600 fee to play select. That included winter training with 2 college coaches and weight training with a world renowned weight trainer. It also covered most of the travel expenses for the players. This year we will pay $500 and have to pay for additional travel expenses. We had several chances to play for free, most have their own bingo or sugar daddy to foot the bill. I try to look at the fees as a downpayment on college tuition. I hope it will be money well spent?

The summer team that I'm going to be on is an 18u team and we had to pay $200 up front and a total of $800 by January I believe.
