i know harrison had a bad season last year due to defense but they have 7 returning starters for next season and last years ace markus kuykendoll and the number two starter colt gibson. harrison will be the underdog team of the year

loveland has a 50% chance, Glen este has a 40% chance, Milford has a 5% chance and Anderson has a 5% chance

Going to be another close year for the FAVC Buckeye division. Last years tie for the title, this year it will come down to who has leaders and who wants it more.

GE will lose some speed, but also has alot of returning talent from last year. They have a strong Senior class this year as well.

Going to be a great year in the division that is for sure.

I recently heard through the grape vine that Milford is going to have a rough season this year, normally yappi is buzzing with smack talk and information about how good they will be this year with returning players.

IMO Loveland will be good, with the strong arms of stoner and janscics back and engel a year older in the heart of the lineup, loveland will be good. However, Glen Este and Anderson will also have very strong teams. There may be only a 3 way tie this year. Also, Harrison has 7 returning starters, they may be a underdog 4th team, But if i have to pick an order it would be:

1.Loveland
2.Anderson
3.Glen Este
4.Harrison
5.Milford
6.Winton Woods

Copied the above from a different thread.

I would be surprised, at least in the forseeable future, if Milford ever has a "rough" season in the FAVC. If they finish below 3rd it's probably going to be a year like last year where there is a logjam of good teams at the top.

Pretty early to make too many conclusions. I think the 4 teams that tied last year (Anderson, Glen Este, Loveland, Milford) all return quality pitching. Harrison didn't win a game against those 4 teams but they might return the most quality pitching. The team that makes the best use of their top pitching in Buckeye division games will probably come out on top.

Milford has lost too many key players: #1 & 2 in their rotation, 2 starting outfielders, 3 starting infielders, and their catcher. Yes they still have Nesteroff and McFarland to pitch, but thats it. Replacing all those starters with first year varsity kids? How can they finish in the top 3?

yea but they also have a good arm in junior wes minton...i am guessing he will do some pitching for Milford this year

yes pitching is important but you cant win games if you cant put the ball in play, with new varisty players, it takes a year or two to get used to the pitching

Wes will pitch probably 3 innings, you cant afford to take him off shortstop, milford has noone else with range to put there.

Returning Varsity.
Zac McFarland (Outstanding player all around)
Robbie Nesteroff(Lefty power hitter, rfp touches 90)
MICHAEL GASTRICH FINALLY HEALTHY(outstanding hitter, cannon from behind the plate, throws 92 off of a mound, if he is healthy)
Jacob Ohnmeis(solid lefty contact hitter, always has the big hit)
A.J. Wilson(lefty with power and contact, hit .400 last year in a starting role)
Wes Minton(great contact hitter, best fielding shortstop in the FAVC)
Zach Ertel(Soft tossing pitcher, great location projected third starter behind Robbie and Zac)
Matt Mithoefer
Travis Haehnle

Newcomers
Ryan Bare(solid second baseman)
Dave Gillespie(wall behind plate, unproven hitter)
Louie Bruck(rising star, decent pitcher, better hitter)
Mack Doherty(outstanding hitter, Throws gas)
Nicholas Hittner(good lefty gets it up to about 80)
Justin Barlow (sr.)(Speed speeed and more speed)
Adam Cassidy (sr.)(Very fast, good power hitter, grades may keep him out)
Ben Blaut (sr.)(Team Leader)
Jacob Janutolo (sr.)(Big,Strong, throws about 80, no control. may contemd for the third spot in the rotation)
Treavor Sammons (sr.)(Fast, Throws hard)

defense is the most important part of the game idc wat anybody says. no matter how good of a pitcher you are you still cant do anything about errors and balls that are misplayed

this is true. but stayfly basically you are saying there are no holes to patch? who is in the bullpen, who will play short when minton pitches? and judging by the stats last year mcfarland is not all that you speak of him.

in fact looking at the stats online, nesteroff, daiker (who i did not see named), and wilson are your best returning players

GE has alot of talent returning from last year, starting with Marksberry, Holdzclaw and Fuller pitching, backed up by Matt Jones, Nate Bromagen, Tyler Godfrey and Andrew Gerber. They have some speed and hope that they can come out strong this coming year. Going to be another great year.

Daiker isn't playing because he is focusing on football, he is going to Miami(Ohio) for football. Zach McFarland had a bad year last year, he is absolutely amazing and will come up big for the eagles. And as for who will play short when wes pitches. it wont happen, wes wont pitch because there is noone else to put out there at short except maybe barlow.

zach is more than capable to play short. i know he played a lot of short over the past summer and he did a very good job. also, his stats last year dont do him justice. he is a great ballplayer and must have just had a bad spring because he is a dominant player

Thank you baseball29, he is a great player and if you can get his summer stats you will see. he lit it up for the heat. i dont really agree with the fact that he can play short, his body and athletic ability suit him more to play any position on the field beside shortstop and centerfield. although i do believe he could still play those positions well if someone were to go down for the eagles. He is an amazing baseball player and i am lucky to have the opportunity to play along side him.

Anderson High-
pitching is Kenney and Rex who throws upper 80's low 90's barden and kling who could possibly help with work in the offseason. in the field at 1st is bissinger who has good hands and can hit, 2nd is either shcmidt or brooks who both have good strong arms and can hit, shortstop is Schrear who is super fast and can rake at the plate, 3rd is up for grabs, outfield would consist of Rod and Kenney (when not pitching) and some younger classman, at catcher im not gonna lie mike Zins new to AHS but he is not very strong behind the plate a long slow weak delivery to 2nd and is slow behind the plate cannot fill jefferys shoes.

Glen Este
pitching is tight with fuller and marksburry who i know personally and good freinds, both these guys are great all around, gerber behind the plate who has a strong arm but avg delivery speed can hit and run and did i mention he can striaght up RUN this kid is fast w/ and avg bat. honestly that is what i know of GE not to sure who else they have out in the field.

milford
has great players in wes, nestroff, and mcfarland. played with all these guys and know that they can all play the game there is no doubt about that. all with good speed and could play anywear give them a glove and a bat and let them go.
Loveland, Harrison, And WW

Redskinpride that is potentially one of the worst threads I have ever seen...I don't know why I am wasting my time commenting on it but that was the worst prediction I have ever seen.. No team is going to be able to get away wit the buckeye division that easily.. Loveland is gonna be right up there in contention for the conference and will probably end up taking it.. no tie this year... its all Loveland baby

3.glen este
4.harrison
5.milford
6winton woods

first off milford doesnt have enough depth for any type of contengency. anderson has a real good chance a taking the league and so does loveland. glen este lost alot of talent last year but they also have alot comin back. harrison apparently has some stud comin back but didnt impress me last year. and winton woods isnt even worth mentioning
