I think Oak Hills will be the team to beat in the GMC. Bender and Raleigh will be a great 1-2 punch on the mound, and they will have a very good lineup with Malloy and Proctor leading the charge. Come to think of it, Oak Hills may be the team to beat in the city.

I believe this thread is about the GMC which is made up of all Divison 1 schools. If we were talking about Division 3 then yes Badin would be the team to beat.

either jake proctor or jeff birkofer

Saw Proctor twice last year play SS. He had double figure errors in those two games and that is NOT an exageration. If he is the SS and has not DRASTICALLY improved OH will not contend for anything other than being the highest HR hitting team again next season. The pitchers should be lobbying the coach for someone else to play SS. Getting 5 and 6 outs in an inning against good teams is very difficult.

although on paper they are not the best team, you ALWAYS have to include hamilton. dont know what it is or how they do it, but they always seem to find a way to win in that program. and they have alot of young talent. they may not win it this year. but watch out for the next 3-4 years.

Who played SS for Oak Hills JV last year? They had a pretty talented team also.

If Fairfields JV team from last year stays together and move to varsity, they will be a team to reckon with.

Fairfield won't have the pitching or experience to compete this year imo.
If they had pitching to compete as freshmen and then again as sophmores why wouldn't they have pitching to compete as juniors? Riddle me that!

Simple. Better competition on the varsity level. Having an average fast ball on jv will garner you some success where varsity hitters will destroy straight fast balls. I don't feel confident that the jv pitchers have the experience yet to move up and have success on the varsity level not to mention only 2 or 3 returning bats.
those same kids you say don't have the experience play against the older kids all summer long and in fall ball and do just fine, the Indians should compete this year, not saying they will win the league but they should compete.

ya OH Jv last year has the best rec. for OH in a long time. alot of talent in the next year or 2 for OH. SS might have been handley or shunk. im not positive.

Our JV team almost beat Fairfield's JV in the tournament game last year so you can't say they were that good.

I almost won the lottery one time, if I had won I would not be writing on this site but as you can see I am. Everybody wins and loses close games, I guess you are happy that you came close, that attitude will never make a winner but good luck to your middies
