The 18U Dayton Classics located in Dayton, OH will be hosting the 2009 Mickey Miller Memorial Tournament ~ Wood Bat June 11-14, 2009. The Tournament is open to all 17U, 18U, and Legion Teams.
Tournaments format and information associated with it ~
* Wood Bat Tournament
* Open To 18U & 17U Age Level Teams Including Legion.
* 20 To 24 Teams. Pool Play with Single Elimination Bracket Play for Championship.
* Five (5) Games Guaranteed (Weather Permitting) ~ Tournament does its best to be sure everyone gets minimum games in case of bad weather - Even if that means changing format.
* Location - Patterson Park – Dayton, OH. Games will mainly be played at Patterson Park. Tournament will also use other local facilities/fields.
* Entry Fee - $700.00 (Includes $150.00 Gate Fee) plus 1dz Baseballs. Deposit of $350.00 due with entry form to reserve spot. Rest of Fee is due prior to May 1st, 2009.
* Team Awards To Top 4 Teams. Individual Awards For Tournament Champion.
* Tournament Information (Team Rosters & Schedule) Is Sent To All Ohio Colleges and several Colleges outside of Ohio for player exposure. Traditionally a well scouted tournament.
* Teams do not have to stay at designated host hotels.
