Stephen Holland from Edgewood has an extremely live arm and will likely be the teams #1 starter as a sophomore this season.

He's not that far off, these guys are pretty good. They're from Mass. Jackson, you might be thinking of the other Jackson?
And they're freshmen THIS year so he's on the wrong thread...

Conor Gilligan- Stud Pitcher/ Shortstop hails from St. Xavier but plays summer ball for the Cincy Styx. Real tall, Lengthy and 6'2. He played in the Champions Fall varisty elite fall ball league. Check him out here at College Prospects of America: http://www.cpoa.com/moreinfocpoa.pl?sport=baseball&gender=m&position=all&gpa=all&grad=all&new=Y&file=09160806 . Great Composure and certainly has a presence on the mound. This kid is the real deal. Red headed David Price, we should see this kid in the majors a few years from now.

nick hittner is very affective pitcher, great late movement at about 82mph. Mac Doherty absolutely rakes, and when healthy is a very good ball player. Louie Bruck is great on the mound, has good stuff (about 83mph) and has very good composure on the mound.

those are some good players from milford,, but also there is Kyle Robbinette and kevin brinkman from moeller.

Widely regarded as one of the top prospects in the class of 2011 in Ohio...

Sawyer Polen, Triway High School - SS/P - 5'11" 170lb
.425 avg (37-87)
5 HR
14 2B (school single season record)
21 extra base hits
40 RBI
37 R
11 SB

1st Team Principal Athletic Conference (PAC-7)
1st Team All-Daily Record

He will likely be a SS at the next level. He's a "true" shortstop that is smooth, has quick hands/exchange, and has a cannon across the diamond. He was consistently clocked at 84-85 last summer, but he needs to work on his offspeed if he wants to be a more effective pitcher. His biggest asset is his hitting! He hit in the #3 spot all of last season for the 20-8, PAC-7 champions. He will likely be a 4-year letterwinner in football, basketball, and baseball... just a very physical, tough kid that is very coachable and has a winning attitude.

Saw him in a Kent tourney a few yrs ago, would love to see him again next spring. I suppose there's a good chance I'll see him in summer ball....

I don't think so. He played on Wayne County Junior Legion this past year (shortstop and #3 hitter), and he has been on the Triway Express summer team for a few years as well. He/we are located in Northeast Ohio, and I don't think he has been playing on any other teams. Maybe I'm wrong, though? I think next year his summer team is going to be something to watch! Keep your eyes out...
