Great get for Thad Matta and the Ohio State Buckeyes in getting Cincinnati Princeton's Jordan Sibert to commit today. A 5 star (Rivals) guard joins two toher 5 star players in Jared Sullenger and DeShaun Thomas, and three star guard Cameron Wright in what is shaping up to be a class that will rival the class of Oden, Cook, Conley and Lighty.
If they can add Adrien Payne from Dayton and a top point guard this class will be incredibly good.
Go Bucks!

I concur completely. Jordan is a TREMENDOUS pick up for the Buckeyes. Congrats to Jordan and his family. I know he put a lot of thought into this decision.

Awesome for Jordan. Became a bit of fan after watching him play against the Middies. Tough player, shooter and can drive well. Great pickup for Ohio State.

Sibert is TOUGH and is a GREAT pickup for OSU.

Sibert BRINGS it and is a lockdown defender and can get his own shot off the dribble...very versitile player who should continue to get better.

I'm trying to tell folks....you won't wanna miss the 2 Middletown versus Princeton GMC conference games this year.

BATTLES

Congratulations Jordan....welcome to the OSU family!

Jordan is a great example of a kid that is dedicated to getting better. He worked very hard at it and it shows.

I look forward to watching him for 2 more years with the Vikes. Best of Luck Jordan.

From this class alone, if you put Payne & Sullenger on the post Thomas at the 3. Who starts at the 2 (Siebert or Wright) I do not know Wright and have not seen Jordan play mush either. Can either play the point at OSU?

Jordan would not be the point. He is a great 2/3. Look for him to get even better this year. One of the very best players in the state.

Congrats to Jordan!!! He is a great kid and even better player. Heres to hoping to stays out of trouble and surrounds himself with great people.

He will play the 2 in college primarily. He passes like a point guard though even though he does not handle the ball like one YET. His potential is sick.

Congratulations Jordan. He is an even better kid than he is a basketball player. I expect big things from him in the future.

I will tell you this..those five alone on the floor will spell trouble for any team. to answer your question about who plays the 2 I would put Jordan at the 2 because at this point his jumper is slightly better than Cam's. I also think that Cam could play the 1 because he's used to handling the rock in a point guard capacity. thats awesome to have a pg 6'5 a sg 6'4 a sf 6'7 a pf 6'8-9 and a center 6'9'-10 all of whom are the best at what they do. all I can say is WOW!!!

OSU is definitely locked & loaded for the near future. They might struggle a little bit this year but things are looking great.

The Bucks also picked up a committment from 6'3 200 lb guard Lenzelle Smith from Chicago. He is a stud 4 star guard that is tough and can knock down the outside jumper with his sweet lefty stroke. Getting Adrien Payne now would have to lock this class up as the number one class in the nation.
Dang Matta can get them to come to Columbus, now he just needs to get a few to stay a few more years.

Thad Matta has to go down as one of the greatest recruiters of all time.
