I read the paper a couple days ago and it said Darren Goodson from Aiken is in some serious trouble and it had his mug shot..any updates?

Found it on the Enquirer's website. Note, however, that it is not a mugshot and instead a provided picture.

The article said his court date was Monday. Anyone know anything?

Monday's hearing will be the Grand Jury's reading on whether to formally charge him with the alledge crime, additional charges, dismiss, or no bill it. Monday will be considered the biggest day of his young life.

My apologies, GF... but your first post WAS pretty vague.

As I'm sure you realize, this is a serious thread issue and sensitive subject with the future of this young man as well as the young woman in the balance. I'm trying to keep it all above board. PLUS we've already had to delete some off-color and tasteless posts (that can no longer be seen by Yappi users).

I was wearing my mod hat, and obviously was being too over-protective to the subject. MY MISTAKE.

Thanks, Eez... I truly hope gonefishing can now understand what I did, and why I did it. Even though I was wrong then, I'd probably do the same thing again if I thought things might possibly bounce out-of-control.

As we've all seen... it's happened in here before in similarly sensitive threads.

The court date is actually Monday Sept 22, The no or true bill should be posted by tued at noon.:angel:

This whole Darren Goodson incident REEKS of dung....and the stentch is deplorable/unbearable.

What really happened here, it doesn't make sense.

I doubt it. Why would the girl make something up to this extent? I don't think the girl is making it up, knowing that she could get in serious trouble if she was found out. Although I'm with you, I hope what he said was right.

I have a bad feeling that Goodson is going to go down HARD.

This is such a big story, I've gotta believe there will be fast coverage on the Enquirer site, as well as some of the TV station websites.

I hope someone will see it, and throw a link on here ASAP.

Well, here it is the grand jury ignored the felony charge of Sexual Battery. That does not mean a lesser sexual charge will not be filed. Still in limbo:shrug: Yhave1 is right on with info, good look. :thumb: Looks like the power 's that be moved the court date up I guess to avoid media blitz. My source is 100 Percent reliable.:angel:

The case was ignored, but this arrest will sit on his record for two years unless he gets it expunged. This means if something happens again like this, they will really go after him. I pray that he has learned his lesson!

The Grand Jury found that there was not enough evidence. It doesn't mean that nothing happened. I hope that the girl is OK and Mr. Goodson stays clear of any trouble in the future. He may not get so lucky next time.

Do you think that it is now her ex-boyfriend?
