...to the Ohio Bobcats. Had offers from Miami, BGSU, Tennessee Tech, Kent, and some others I think. He was down To Ohio and Kent, but Kent already had a small forward commitment, so it was an easy choice to go to Ohio, I guess.

“They added me to the list so I guess that’s plus,” Horne told Scout.com. “They recruited me very hard since Coach Groce got the job, they were on it. They recruited me harder than any school I had on my list. I felt I was their No. 1 guy since Day One.”

Congratulations to Horne, I like his game.

There won't be many big games the Vikes will have this upcoming year that I'll miss.

Princeton has a lot of d-1 caliber players. Are they a preseason favorite to go to columbus? I dont get to see many teams from Cincy play being from Stark.

Yes Princeton is one of the top preseason favorites to get to Columbus out of SW Ohio.

Interestingly enough another team from the same conference (Middletown,GMC) could get there also and will pose a serious threat.

Middletown has Allan Robers, Bill Edwards Jr & Tony Peters and a host of other respectable supporting players.

Centerville
Aiken
Trotwood Madison
Moeller
Elder
ST X
Huber Heights Wayne

would be the other contenders.

Princeton may argueably be considered the overall favorite but they did lose their PG from last year to graduation.

It'll be interesting

Very happy to get Horne, he picked up a lot of offers in the Spring. Great fit for Ohio, great first commit for Groce era.

I love this situation as a Princeton alum and soon-to-be Ohio alum. Justin Orr graduates from OU after this season, so small forward is going to be a position of need for the Bobcats. It's a perfect fit.
