It's a secret like in the spy movies, Eez...
If he told you, he'd have to kill you!!!
You must have been a pain in the arse as a kid, Eez... probably had all your Christmas presents unwrapped by December 20th. :D

These people are acting like another Yancy Gates transfer is going to happen.
If it is true, then I don't know whether to cheer for Aiken (since I am a fan of CMAC) or go against them. It's getting UGLIER & UGLIER, just like someone said it is going to be. ;)
Regardless, Aiken will be a team to watch out for.
It's a new era, Yancy is gone. Time for all the players in Cincinnati to transfer to the top team (again).
 :Ohno: I Yi Yi, what a joke. Sad, funny, and true all at the same time.

I'm apologizing to everyone on here, members and guests.
I shouldn't have said the things I said about these kids. Not only was I completely wrong, I was completely disrespectful.
These kids should be able to go to any school in the world if they want to, as long as they put education first.
If a kid wants to transfer to four schools in four years, go ahead. Kids are kids. These kids aren't in it for themselves. If they were, they wouldn't be going to school's who have major talent already, knowing they will have to share the ball.
All in all, what it boils down to, is that kids just want to have fun, so let them. They're only going to be playing high school sports for four years, so let them have every bit of fun they can absorb. And I mean it.
But I WILL NOT apologize for saying the things I've said about the coaches and etc. at Aiken. I can see it, and so can a lot of others. I just hope they don't ruin it for the kids. That would be SO terrible.
I love the CMAC, and I'm with them every step of the way!
All I ask is that you all NEVER TAKE ANY OF MY BELOVED LOCKLAND PLAYERS!
GO CMAC!
GO AIKEN!

If you all would just really read into the post and if you follow high school and AAU bassketball like I do then you know that this has been in the making since the summer. It is impossible to say that this team does not look imposing, but the league championship does still have to come through "Tigertown". Yes, Withrow had a Dream Team last year and did not get to Columbus. This year Aiken has Darrien Goodson, Chane Behannon, Jordan Smith, Gene and Antwon Primus and the final transfer is Kenny Knight.
Not to mention they have some really talented Freshman and JV players who will be playing up this year. I can't wait to see how Coach Leon puts it together. Good Luck Coach.:thumb:

What about Elijah Pittman from Holmes? I heard a week ago he had moved to the city and was going to enroll at Aiken too? Anyone else heard this?

There is a kid there from Holmes but I was told his name is Antonio.

No. But I'm not saying that.
I'm saying as long as they do good in school. That's all we should worry about.

Is Kenny Knight even THAT good? What kind of numbers has he put up the past 2-3yrs.? This will be his third school in 4yrs. (Northwest, Winton Woods, now Aiken).
I remember seeing him his freshman year at Northwest, and thought he was going to be a STUD. But he disappointed me. You NEVER hear about him.
Kenny, to me, should've went to a D2 or D3 HS.
Overall a good pickup for Aiken.

You are Correct, it is Kenny I am pretty sure he enrolled this morn. I am being nice when I say this....He is a selfish player, does not work hard and too many people in his life thinking he is the next Labron. I hope he gets his stuff together but until then.... Maybe Aiken will humble him:rolleyes: Talent is there for sure, everything else is up in the air....

BGSU did offer Kenny. I know he has a lot of potential and a lot of issues. If he can make the grades he will play at a DI college. I know Kenny very well and he is a great kid when you have the chance to talk to him. He is young for his age, he skipped 7th grade. I have seen him grow up a lot since middle school. Hopefully Aiken is the right school for him and his potential can become reality.

All these "so called" big time transfers and No Head Coach! All these kids are uprooted because someone sells them a bag of gold, and it's all for not. Not to mention Aiken is rated the worst H.S. in Ohio. In Fact it's 1 & 2. Because Aiken is spilt in two sides and both are rated the worst schools in Ohio. So we know these kids are not transferring for academics, go figure!!

Glad you brought that up, GotNext.
Aiken is so bad in academics (check this one out), that the OHSAA has a list of about 5-10 schools in the entire state of Ohio (the worst rated schools), and have MADE EXCEPTIONS FOR THESE SCHOOLS. Listen to this, if a student wants to transfer from one of these listed schools (Aiken I believe is the only Cincinnati school; I could be wrong), they can, even if it's in the middle of the school year. Yes, it's true. Because, since these schools are so terrible with education, your excuse as to why you want your kid to transfer out can be "because they have a terrible educational system", and OHSAA will aprove of it. Isn't that a shame when OHSAA makes exceptions for students to transfer OUT of Aiken? :Ohno:
Cortez Howell and his family made the right decision, in more ways than one. Let's see if others will take the blinders off and wake up and realize that Eezy was right. I'm sorry, I just HAD to. UGLIER & UGLIER.
No wonder Gentry was "fired" from Aiken. Everybody there thinks all of the academic issues are because of the head basketball coach. The BASKETBALL coach? You GOT to be kidding me, right? Out of all people, the coach. Sorry, I can't get over that.
I don't feel bad for Gentry, AT ALL. He's better off at Lockland, basketball wise AND mentally.

Eezy how many so called studs did Gentry take with him. And I am sure Howell is getting a quality education at Lockland..
Aiken will still be very very good this season without the Howell boy.

I'm not sure, but I only know of one.
Lockland is EEZILY twice as better than Aiken when you compare academics and etc.
Did you know Lockland received a bronze medal in a NATIONWIDE survey of public school educational systems? Holla back! WOO WOO! Go to: getyourfacts.com for more info. <<< Sorry I had to use it, since it isn't copyrighted. :D
Sidenote: One of Lockland's student-athletes received the "Anthony Munoz Straight A Student of the Year" award, too.
How much you want to bet Lockland makes it further than Aiken in the tournament? Even if you take back Cortez Howell, we'll still make it further.

I don't believe HOwell will make a huge impact either way with his 5pts. per game. In recent school ranking I am sure Lockland did not fair much better then Aiken.

Howell will put this team over the top. Lockland was already very good. He was the missing piece to the puzzle. Plus, isn't he going to D1 Bowling Green?
Actually, all this happened in 2008 (bronze medal; Anthony Munoz award). Thanks.

See what I mean everyone? People go by opinions and what they hear from others when they judge Lockland. There's WWWAAAYYY more good than bad. If it weren't for the westside of Lockland (5 small streets), it would be just like Reading or Wyoming.

Kenny Knight I have seen play my whole life, he has ZERO chance to play in college, ZERO:
How about stay somewhere go to school prove everyone wrong and then put up some numbers like 20 and 10 then talk about junior college.

I wouldn't say ZERO... He has talent I would like to see him have some stability in his life. He kinda reminds of the Revels kid... Revels transfered to T.A. ( he was not a city kid and did not fit) Kenny is not a city kid and he will also stuggle...Just my opinion.

That is a HUGE "IF". Part of the problem is that people keep telling him how good he is. He has wasted 2 years of high school elgibility. Kenny is not a bad kid, more mis-directed than anything. He has to start getting it NOW before it is too late to benefit from his talent.

Kenny is definitely misdirected, but he will definitely go d-1... depending on how soon he gets his head on straight will determine how high he goes

Antonio and Elijah are brothers I believe. Can someone shed some light on that. Also, one was a huge contributor to Holmes run to the state final in Kentucky.
