6'9 285pd former Dayton Dunbar standout player to lace em up for Coach Waters this season at Cleveland State. Just wanted to show some love to a genuine young man. I wish him the best and will always continue to pray for his success in whatever he does. The story was in the Plain Dealer.

Played at Vincennes JC during the 2007/08 season averaging 7.1 ppg and 5.6 rpg. Will redshirt during the 2008/09 year and have 3 years eligibility starting in the 2009/10 season for the Vikings.

Huggins and K-State. Then it was Iowa State maybe. In the end, Juco. Either way, CSU landed a good player and I am impressed with whats going on with CSU.

I don't want to turn this into a college thread in the high school forum... but the Horizon Conferece is a VERY solid conference. In fact, I believe there are years when the Horizon is VERY comparable to the MAC... if not a tad bit better.

A number of teams in there have had pretty decent NCAA tournament success over the years. Butler, Valpo, Wisconsin-Green Bay, and Cleveland State (during the Kevin Mackey era) all had substantial tournament runs. In fact, as a youth I recall Loyola of Chicago in the Final 4, although their recent history has been so-so.

I guess the point I'm making is that Pogue should be able to display his considerable talents against some prestigious upper mid-major powers.

I've been a fan of Aaron's the last few years and wish him well. I'll probably go up to YSU (about 15 minutes from my door) and watch him against the Penguins.

It's an old joke. When Pogue got shot, the Dayton Daily News ran a quote from Aaron blaming his shooting on somebody having a 'bandanna' against him. Aaron speaks with an accent (plus I believe his jaw was swollen) and was obviously saying 'vendetta'. I went off on Archdeacon, telling him to his face the disservice he did the kid. Turned out that Archdeacon didn't even write the story or get the quote. Since I can't think of another worthy emotion, I just giggle about it now. Good to see that he didn't give up.
