I am sure many people voted on how the state meet finished last year.
I've never seen a preseason poll for xc before. Is this the first one ever?

The amazing thing is that a ton of those teams will be at the Hot Summer Bash tomorrow. We will really get to see who is for real! Medina, Centerville, Davidson, one or both of the Cincy Catholic schools will all be there.

This isn't a very fast course and Roys got a pretty slow (for the season) start last year at this meet. If I had to pick the team champion, I'd give the nod to Carmel.

Interesting how turpin is below X and LS in the city poll but are higher in the state pollHere is what Turpin returns from the final 3 meets:
District - 16:32, 16:52, 18:17, 18:40
Regional - 16:36, 16:37, 17:55, 18:19
State - 16:33, 16:46, 18:05, 18:56
Their top 2 are both a threat to qualify for state, their team is not even a remote threat...

Regional - Jr, Jr, So, Sr
State - Jr, Jr, Sr, Sr
I have listed the class they are currently in. Their 4 & 5 may not even break 18 this season.

who does everyone see making state from the Southwest regional?
Centerville
Mason
Lasalle
St. Xavier
Mason,Centerville, and LaSalle are pretty well locks to go from SW Ohio. (Unless something bad happens.) After that there are probably 5-6 teams that could be in the mix for the #4 spot. It will gradually work itself out to probably just 2-3 schools but Regional day will be exciting as it always is.
is lasalle a lock for sure. I know they are much better than last year but there are a lot of inexperienced kids on that team
