I bet everyone wants to know right now is lakota east goin to come back from a absolutely horrible season last year going 2-19.. Is there any changes in the staff? Whose going to come alive this season? Will it be senior daniel Lyons? sophomore Mike Boyd? or will they repeat from last year? LETS TALK:)

From all I've gathered during last season... LE was VERY young last year.

Three sophies and a frosh started a LOT of their games. Which means they'll still be pretty young for '08-'09.

If Kirby Wright (6'7 Sophie) joins the returning four starters (Boyd, Lyons, Martin, and Alaimno) LE will have some size, that's for sure...

F-Daniel Lyons 6'5 Jr
G-Michael Boyd 5'11 So
F-Jeremy Martin 6'4 Jr
F-Steven Alaimno 6'4 Jr.

Could be another tough year. If Wright indeed transferred to the Middies... could be VERY tough. When you go into the conference with four likely automatic losses (Middletown & Princeton), it's difficult to turn things around... at least for this coming year.

Losing Wright is a killer.

i think losing kirby wont hurt.he didn't play half the time! danny had a great summer, is stronger, and a funky match up for people. and boyd is solid. we will see if he carries over a strong summer. i see them winning 13 games:stirthepot:

They have 2 juniors with some size that might help too. Both of them played with Mike Price this summer. Cory Keibler (6'6" 210)and Trey Brodenex(6'4" 190).

I think East will be Ok this year. They played a lot of younger players last year (Freshmen & Sophomores) and I will tell you this the Boyd kid is the real deal.

What are Boyds strengths? I really didnt see him do anything last year.. but he was only a freshman.

I just dont see two straight horrible seasons for East. But I also dont see them contending for the league title. Wally will win 6-10 games this winter.
