Divisions:I(6&UNDER);II(7-8);III(9-10);VI(11-12);V(7&8 GRADE)
Weigh-Ins: Sunday, November 30, 6:30-8:00am (Divisions V,I,II)
10:00-11:00am (Divisions III,IV)
Sessions: Division V,I,II Wrestling begins at 8:30
Division III, IV Wrestling Begins at 11:30(At the conclusion of 1st session
Awards: OAC Resin Trophies 1st through 4th(Participation Ribbons for all).
Rules: Modified High School Rules. (Three 1 min periods.)
Entry Fee: - $16.00 for on line registration up until Nov 26th. - $18.00 Mail-in (must be postmarked by 11/22/08). $20.00 at the door (Wrestlers can wrestle 2 divisions for additional $12.00)

Thought I'd ask in advance if the tournament was going to start 2 hours late like it has every other year.

As I recall we did start alittle late last year(30 mins maybe), but we did take the time to make sure the brackets were correct and were bumped into a different venue that we were not use to. I do remember having everyone out of there very early and no one came and complained to me at the time. If you would have I would have refunded your money right then and there. . If you have issues, Mt. Healthy has a tournament on the same weekend you are welcome to go there. I will say that we will do our best to make sure that we get out early and run a good tournament with good competition. I have been to a thousand tournaments over the years and anyone knows(who has run a tournament) that even when a tournament seems to go good there is always that 1 or 2 people who cannot be satisfied and try to make everyone miserable. We are just trying to run a program here and earn some money for the kids for camps, singlets and shoes. If you want to bash please go somewhere else. Sensible I agree I have taken Colton and Garrett to alot of tournaments in state and out of state and I would rather have brackets done right and good competition rather then to start on time and have kids wrestle in wrong bracket or not at all by mistake. And if run right you can make up that time during the rounds. I hope to see you there what are boys weighing looks like Colton will be around 80 or 85 and Garrett will be 205 LOL he keeps getting bigger and just 8th grade. I am starting to hate my food bill.

From what I have heard Shawn runs a great tournament. I am sure any problems there may have been last year have been addressed. There should be some great match up here.
