I wasn't there but I heard threw the grapevine that you were your usual annoying self yelling at officials and screaming at your kids, even taken one out in the hallway for a talk and when one of them lost, you refused to coach him after that. Keep up the great work, your just a model parent. :(
As to your son, congratulations to him.
Yeah one ref couldn't tell green from red and not only me but most of the room including the opposite coach had to set him straight no big deal the refs were pretty good despite some weird calls. and yeah i yell at tournaments and at my kids if they say they are ready i expect them to be ready and give me their BEST effort otherwise stay home ,I have talks with my kids in hallways at every tournament whats your point my last talk with Stephen in the hall on that day talked him right into beating someone he probably couldnt have beaten otherwise . ?My other son had one of the best wrestlers and coaches in the room in his corner where do you get your info .Stick around till next year and see how foolish you are for making predictions about a kid who has more heart than anyone connected with your grapevine of jeoulous friends .It was a great tournament and learning experience for a lot of kids and i must say the officials were top notch and very understanding personaly i would have had me thrown out but i guess my luck held out once again .
Stephen says proving you wrong is all the congratulations he needs .

OK, I was there and I saw nothing out of Empire that I would consider offensive or embarrasing at all. Now, lets talk about the mom who walked out onto the mat in the middle of the match and yelled and screamed at her son, embarassed the kid to death, and made a complete fool out of herself. That was one for the books. And why that official didnt remove her is beyond me. She definitely should have been kicked out. I know I have gotten frustrated with my son and they way he wrestled sometimes, they all have their moments, but to do that was unnecessary. Never in the 10 years I have been going to watch my son, have I ever seen anything like it. I actually turned to my son after he pointed her out, and he looked at me and basically told me he was glad I never acted like that.
Its one thing to do it in the hallway, but why go out on the mat. Unbelievable!
I was right at matside on that one ,and although i did get steamed and go off on my boy that lady made me look like a saint she stormed to the center of the matt and snatched her kid right up and went off on him if that had been me i would probably still be in jail somewhere up north right now but since it was a woman i think it took the refs by surprise my son gave me a look like wow we thought you were bad ,By the way i never yelled at any refs this weekend and my private conversations with my kids in the hall are just that PRIVATE meaning no bodys buisness especially some eavesdropping parent whos kids have learned how to count ceiling lights thanks to mine.
