Josh Harrison was named 2nd Team All American by Louisville Slugger. First time since Kevin Youkilus was named 3rd team All American. This kid had a great season and career for that matter because I am sure he is gone this week in the draft. He is only a junior but he will be drafted high enough to go. Kid was a beast at UC.

Congratulations Josh
I have enjoyed watching you play at Princeton and U.C. and look forward to seeing you in the majors soon.

He and Dan Osterbrock from Colerain were both studs at UC and will both be drafted this month.

I wonder how high they will be drafted this week.

I think Dan will be taken first - a tall left-handed pitcher with a good fastball and great off-speed pitches who has plenty of room for improvement and development.

Hope all the college kids expecting to get drafted get picked high enough so they can make a comparative decision, including the Flash players Rohan, Sanders, Carp, Tremblay and Lamport.

Cam Satterwhite had a huge season for UC, and drafted out of HS a few years ago, hope the scouts kept him on their radar.

Cam will stay unless he's picked early enough to get a big signing bonus. He told me the reason he didn't go after HS was because the money wouldn't have been enough to live on and he had nothing to fall back on. I'm interested to see if Campana is drafted because that kid can flat out run and he has a pretty good OBP. He runs a 6.3 60 and was in the top 5 in Stolen Bases in the country I believe.

I don't think Campana is solid enough at the dish to be a high draft pick. Satterwhite, I feel has more upside.

should be an interesting day for sure for a few of the bearcats. I think all of the above will be drafted. Dan and Josh will go the highest for sure. Josh just flat out plays, Dan is a lefty so that counts alot. Cam and Campara will go late after the top 25 rounds. I think Josh and Dan go in the top 8 rounds. Those two are gone for sure. Satterwhite will be back at UC next season.

Josh was named Co-Big East player of the year. Another former Princeton Viking from the same graduating class, Jeremy Hamilton at Wright State, was named the Horizon League player of the year.

I heard that. Josh and Jeremey are real good friends. When Wright State played UC this year they both hit bombs in the same game. They both will be drafted this year. both played at Princeton and little league togehter. thats pretty sweet.

My brother talked to Cam last night on the phone...I guess he'll be getting drafted, but not sure if it will be enough to go or not.
