I know it's kind of a wierd question to put on yappi but i dont know anyone who owns either of the bats im looking into getting. so it would be a help if anyone who has used either a nike cx2 or demarini cf3 would give me their oppinion. i would be really mad if i spent $400 dollars on a bat and didn't like it.

IN MY HONEST OPINION...

I have not used either, but I have seem whole teams use the Nike bats and really like them (plus the bat sounds good). As for the Demarini CF3, I have not seen it in action. How much is it running? If it's any more than $350, do not get it. You can get the lower tier Demarinis for much less, and the production would be very similar. If I had to recommend a bat, it'd be the Easton Stealth. There are multiple levels and styles, so you have to pick what suits your hitting style and bat speed. Good luck.

that's what im using right now, an Easton Stealth. i batted .527 on the season in jv with it. Whenever i turn onto the big ten network and watch college baseball they are always using that nike bat so i figure it has to be pretty good. it's a doublewall bat so im interested to see how the ball comes off of it, plus its a composite bat so it wont have that annoying ping (i don't like the sound of metal bats)

i have used both of these bats, i personally love the nike bat. Nike has made great improvements in thier bats over the last couple of years and this bat is no exception. Our college team has traditionally used Demarini bats and i like them but however didnt like the CF3, because its a different feeling from the other demarini bats. The ones that we had also broke fairly quickly. But our team has picked up a nike sponsorship for next season and the new bat was sent to us and just about everyone who used it loved it.

Good luck with the Nike bat. I have heard only good things about it. As for the Demarini's being used in the college ranks the last few years, the College World Series Champs have used Demarini's for the past 2 or 3 or 4 years, I think... but those are all about contracts and not each individual player picking what he wanted to use. When all else fails, remember that it's not the bat that gives you a higher batting average.

Good luck!

college players are lucky they all have their own 400$ bat and it's not fair lol

When I played in little league, hot stove, summer, and high school baseball, I never once had my own bat. I always used that of someone else on my team. Saved money. :) Just don't throw around other peoples' bats when you strike out!

I used the Nike MX3 in college and absolutely loved it! Best bat I have ever used (and I used a lot of different ones!).

as a pitcher i rarely batted in HS and rarely do now, but i always did prefer the stealths...as a matter of fact i refused to use anything other than a stealth. very nice.

I prefer the TPX Exo i love it! It has great balance throughout the entire bat and isnt top heavy like the easton stealth. I wouldnt trade for any other bat. The Exo is the best in my opinion and it has great pop to it.
