WB had 7 errors, 5 HBP's to the other team, 4 BB. Terrible performance. I don't know if stiffness or what it was, but they weren't the same. What I mean by that is the school sat hrough a 2.5 hour award assembly. There was a lot of pressure at them today. Everyone was telling them good luck wherever they were walking. NDCL just took it to WB. I see NDCL going to the finals.
It kind of suprised me that Grove didn't put Newhart in at all...

CCC 13
Woodridge 9
it was a slugfest. Nick Jones homerun in the 1st was a bomb (his 9th of the season) but the key was that Grant McCoury 3-run bomb to left in the bottom of the fifth ( believe his 8th). The pitchers were ineffective for Woodridge as Wilhite and Kruzinski were hit hard. There had to be over 25 hits between the clubs with at least 10 walks. While it wasn't pretty at times it was an exciting game. Good luck to CCC!!!

Division III regional championship at Wright State
19th straight win for the Rams, who rally to knock off the defending state champions. Badin scores twice to tie the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the seventh on RBI singles by Nate Jackson and Tony Cassano, and Nate Hubbard scores on a bases-loaded wild pitch in the bottom of the eighth. Badin ace Brett McKinney comes back for a second straight day, retires the last five batters to get the win in relief of Tyler Doyle and Chad Beatty, who both pitched well.
Badin plays Wheelersburg in the state semifinals at 10 a.m. Friday at Cooper Stadium in Columbus
GMGA beat New Middletown Springfield 7-0
