St. X-Moeller under way ...
Posted by tomgroeschen at 5/29/2008 5:53 PM EDT
St. Xavier and Moeller just started their D-I regional semi baseball game here at UC a few minutes ago. The game was to start at 5 but was delayed by the 10-inning game preceding it (Lakota East 4, Vandalia Butler 3).
The X-Moeller winner plays East tomorrow at 2 at UC in the regional finals.
We'll post updates of X-Moeller here on the blog, and we'll also peek in on Lakota West, which is playing up at Dublin Coffman in the D-I regional semis. West drew into the Columbus regional as the area's top seed. Typically, the No. 1 Cincinnati area seed will choose the Columbus regional route, and reigning state champ West is that team this year.
