I agree. It's Lakota West's to lose. They repeat, i'm almost certain. If they don't, it's because of St. Ignatius.

It pains me to say Lakota West, considering how close we came to knocking them off.
Firebirds win back-to-back Titles.

I have to go with Moeller on this one, but DO NOT look past Vandalia. People may not be aware of them but they are a dangerous team flying well below the radar. You heard it here first.

i would tend to agree that butler is a solid team but they dont have the pitching to win state. dumler is the guy for them and the weay the games are laid out it would take some rain to allow dumler to pitch them to the title. i like what i seen from butler when i saw them saturday but iggy is gonna win state. take that to the bank.

So, What does that prove??? Boro is sitting at home, just like Sidney who beat Butler twice.
Means nothing at this point.

Exactly! I'll take what Butler has done over the past 15 season over Springboro anyday. Sounds like sourgrapes as Springboro has been shutup, shutdown, and sent home with their tail between their legs. I think Moeller wins state BTW.

give your reasons why you think moeller wins state. I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, but I'm just curious.

Springboro's stats were soooo inflated this year because they play in a WEAK conference. Look what happened when they played a GCLS team, NOTHING... what happened to all those amazingly high averages? that was Moeller's NUMBER THREE PITCHER!

Springboro will always be an MML nobody. I have ZERO respect for the GWOC South. That wasn't even our number one guy they faced!!

That's what they would like you to think, but Suter has been Moeller's best pitcher this year. His ERA is nasty, it looks like what Williams' ERA was last year.

Massillon Jackson is my sleeper. I watched them a couple times and they are for real. Disiplined at the plate and solid in the field. Pitching might be there weakness ( i don't mean they have bad pitching its actually damn good) but they make up for it with there bats. I look for them to be in the final 4. Good luck Jackson from Boardman!

You may be on to something there, bballman. Anderson and Chapman from Jackson are fighters on the hill. Two very good senior pitchers that get overlooked too often and has cost teams their season.

Lakota West gets my vote... They looked really good when I watched them play Colerain...

After objectively analyzing all the teams, I went with St. Edward.

Until someone beats Lakota West, I am going with them. They are very well coached and play well together.

St. Ed's beat Jackson by a score of 4-2. Sophomore Lavisky with two home runs.
