Walsh's staff led by Belair, Starn and Skulina will be too tough. Also, bowers in relief as well as grieve are both solid and have contributed largely to the warrior success this season.

Columbus DeSales will be tough to beat with 8 of 11 seniors in the starting lineup. This team has two very good pitchers in Gentile & Parise and the solid offense of Clark, Curl, Gentile, & co. gets it done at the plate.

My heart says Poland can make some noise. This team is playing too good lately, and all of there loses came early in the year when they were deep into their pitching rotation and getting things figured out. They have two solid pitchers in Simons who is going to Mt. Union and Vallinger who is a Jr. but getting Div. 1 looks. Also, their lineup is potent top to bottom. Their 9 hitter had 3 hits against Mooney to win Districts. Conference P.O.Y Matt Pitzulo leads the way defensively and offensively for the dogs.

It should be a great matchup at hudson with West Branch and Poland. Tyler Newhart is pitching for WB- He's going to Wright State. He's been pitching really strong - If He's on and the D backs him up , WB has a really great shot to win. Goodluck to all the teams still fighting for state!
