Last week I was driving around the Mason area and I thought I saw off in the distance a new stadium of some kind being built. It looked kind of like a college type baseball stadium. Is it a baseball stadium or is it for some other kind of sporting event? I apologize I cannot recall exactly where I saw it, am I crazy or did I see what I saw? Any help out there?

If your talking about the new field being built off Synder Rd. I think it is a privately owned park being built for a local business. Not sure who will play on it. I did hear a traveling baseball team would be using it.

Anybody else know any facts about this instead of the "I've heard" info that I've stated?

Yes that was it. Who in the heck is behind that structure? It really looks like it is going to be a great park.....

I have not drove back to check it out but it doesn't seem to be a regular size field. Looks more little league to me. Could be wrong but who knows?

if that is a little leauge park then that is the nicest park i have seen for little league, i drive past it everday but have yet to drive past it, i think some playoff games should be held there in the future, have it be sort of like midland.

i personally know the man paying to build this. it is being built ofr a 15u travel team. The grass is coming from the provider of the Mets and Yankees and will have a full time employee taking care of it. Each player has a hotel style key card that gets them in the Professional clubhouse with custom wood lockers and 6 HD Plasma's in both clubhouses. After each game the players leave their uni's and the are washed and ready the next time they arrive at the park. If you have seen this field, you only know half of how nice it is. And it is being built out of this man's pocket. no sponsors

Arington, who owns Prasco, has a son on the 14u Spikes, who from what I hear, are incredibly good.

The field is for them to play on, and they will rent it to other teams, CHCA might have a game if finished on time, and the park is looking very very nice. It is regular dimensions, so high schoolers could maybe use it

You are talking about Prasco Park.

Prasco is an independent pharmaceutical company that is moving from the Kemper Road area (I believe) to the new facility this summer.
