I would have to say that the infiled for Floridat State was the best, then Canal Park, I always liked Miami of Ohio's field. THe Michigan Battlecats stadium was super nice. I also liked Winthrop. Another cool but terrible set up was 3 rivers stadium (the old Pirates field). I can always go with old faithful, University of Akrons Field (those guys worked hard everyday to make it a nice infield to play on).

Disneys Wide World of Sports was great, and I'd say Bob Cene Park in Struthers, OH. is one of the nicest complexes around. Many state Connie Mack and Mickey Mantle tournaments have been held there.

Take a look....

Dayton Dragons field was the best I've ever played on...no question about it.

One sweet set up when I was a kid was Cooperstown Field of Dreams park in Cooperstown, NY. I was 12 at the time...absolutely sick!

I have played at the Reds, Astros and Braves spring training complexes and not 1 of them compares to a high school field in the middle of tennessee... Pope John Paul High School, located outside of Nashville is by far the best field i have EVER seen or played on... The outfield grass literally looks and feels like a fairway. There is an undergriund draining system that spans the entire field, the great clay in the infield... simply amazing. Heard it cost about twice of what st. x and moeller cost to go there, they have their OWN PROFESSIONAL GROUNDS CREW that work only on that field. It is baseball heaven.

I liked all of these fields. We have some pretty nice fields down here at the high school level. Everyone thinks Carthage, Tx is the best but I like Longviews. I will take a few pics today and post them (I have to ump a game this evening)
I always thought Munson field was pretty shabby. Perry's field (unless they have changed it in the last 4 years) was not much to look at either.
I liked the Tn. field you showed and the one in Sebring was nice.
Someone mentioned the Cobb County complex. Now that is NICE!

Great American BallPark, Disneys Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando. Midland Complex.

And although i personally have never played there, the Lamade Stadium in Williamsport was by far one of the nicest fields ive ever seen. especially for that age group.

I found a picture of Cocoa High School Baseball Field in Florida.

http://www.cocoaexpo.com/baseball/tournaments/2007%20ST%20Aerial%20Pics%20To%20Use/Cocoa%20High%20School%20BB.JPG

We played the game under the lights. It past midnight, and the sprinklers came on... we had to call the game (top 7th).

I also played on over half of these fields in Florida:

Those bottom fields sure look different once the middle of a hot Florida spring rolls around, after numerous weeks of Spring Break Baseball. I've never seen them anywhere near that green. CBHS is a very nice field though.

I don't know about some of these single fields some of you are mentioning, but the best complex is by far East cob. Great teams also down at those tournaments.

Cocoa high school field is sweet. I have played on canal park and this field is right up there with field conditions. It is a huge park with a great layout.

Also Elmwood high school which is located near Bowling Green is a very nice field and complex for how small of school it is.

I used to live in Atlanta, and worked over in East Cobb. You guys are right that their baseball complex is unbelievable.

http://www.eastcobbbaseball.com/facilities.cfm

What's also interesting is that entire complex is owned and operated by a private non-profit corporation. It isn't owned by any governmental entity, which I think is pretty cool.

It's so funny to hear people talk about the wonders of Cooper Stadium. I can remember when that place had astroturf, and everyone hated it. Unfortunately, Franklin County owns both Cooper Stadium and the Clippers baseball club.

Benedictine plays at Nobby's Ballpark @ Case Western Reserve...very nice!
Is that a permanent arrangement, or is that just a one year deal?

I think Nobby's Ballpark is nice, but they could have done a little bit more with it, like have seating raised above field level and sunken dugouts. I'm not a big fan of the disjointed seating where the seats behind the plate are stadium seats, and then the separated seating up each foul line only have aluminum bench seating with no chairbacks at all.

They really could have snazzed it up a bit more, and made it really impressive for CWRU baseball recruits.
