The starting pitching has kept them in all the games, top 3 starters and closer's era is less than 3.00 as a group, just a few bad outings in relief. On offense they haven't hit stride as a team. They have missed some games against weaker opponents ( on paper ) and that has hurt.

They lost another tough one to Monroe tonight, defense had a few lapses that cost them in the end, they stand at 9-4 on the season.

Prior to the Monroe game they had won 5 in a row including wins at Carlisle, Milton Union, Northridge, Bellbrook and Waynesville. Carlisle and Monroe play Wed. for the first time so the Mohawks are still in the hunt for the league title.

They beat state ranked Tri County North earlier in the year.
