Zac Leonard from Federal League (Mckinley) Best Short Stop I've seen in high school. He is at Eastern Michigan playing 3rd base.

Chad Geuy - Sidney - Currently a Senior at the University of Findlay.

Chad led Findlay in Hits with 63 hits as a Sophomore. His Junior season He set a Findlay record 46 RBI's and lead team in HR's as well.

im young and havent seen much but edgington and kadish from wyoming, grad last year - edgington is at miami now and kadish is at marshall, both playing baseball i think.

Rich McKinney/Miami East-was an All-American at Ohio U and played for NY Yankees, Oakland A's and Chi. White Sox

Heath Murray/Troy pItched for Michigan and San Diego, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Cubs.

Dustin Hermasson/Kenton Ridge Played at Kent State and had 12 year major league career for many teams.

Dave Newnam/Troy originally went to Kentucky on football scholarship. Ended up at Wright State and was a D-2 All-American for the Raiders. Played in the Yankee farm system for a couple of seasons.

Dan Cox/Troy Played college football and baseball at Toledo. And played for NY Yankees Class A team for two season and hit over .300 each season only to be released.

Mike Flanagan/Sidney Played college ball at Indiana U. and hit one of the longest homers ever at Troy in high school.

Josh Hamilton is the best hs player I have ever seen and I see probably about 2500 kids a year.

Andrew Brackman, though i have played against him many times. i didnt realize it until i saw him as a spectator..odd. as for sweeney, its saddens me of the choices he made off the field but thats another story. another is cameron maybin, though hes not from the area, during the summer he parked one of my changegups in the seats he was a phenonmial player

i agree with you about my earlier post on Sweeny, however, despite those choices, he still got on w/ the Devil Rays a few years back, but was cut after hurting his hand..all that talent, who knows what he might have done.......

Hands down the best ever in the Cincinnati area is a kid named BOB BOYCE from Deer Park. #1 draft pick of the ORIOLES IN 78 or 79. HANDS DOWN

Mike "The Hitman" Easler - Benedictine '69. Went on to win a World Series Ring with the Pittsburgh Pirates in '79, and a major leage All Star. He's now the hitting instructor with the L.A. Dodgers.

The best that I saw was Philip Humber of Carthage. To bad they let kids blow their arms out down here and it catches up to them about the age of 20-23.

cameron maybin, from North Carolina and went to powerhouse TC Robertson High School along with Justin Jackson and Josh Thrilkil
all 3 are great players
Cameron Maybin- Detroit/Florida...firs hit, homerun, stolen base, and HBP were all off the great Roger Clemons in Yankee Stadium

You are correct, but he went to Michigan and then threw his arm out.....
I went to school with him, know him pretty well.

How about Dave Swartzbaugh, Middletown to Miami to the Cubs.....
