This weekend is the annual Ohio Jesuit Tournament. It is a tournament played between the 4 Jesuit school in Ohio, St. Ignatius, Xavier, Walsh Jesuit, and St. Johns. Any predictions or insights on who will win?

You would have lost your money .Ignatius came home 3-0, WJ 2-1. Both gave the Cinci boys from Xavier a whipping.

WJ was down to 2 outs with no body on in the 7th inning and did a nice job hitting the ball after that to take the lead and St X blew up defensively the rest of the inning and St I's would have been down 6-5 and St X batting in the bottom of the 4th if the ump wouldn't have blown the DP call saying the SS didn't touch 2B. They scored 3 runs after that missed call in that inning instead - that game would have been a different game without that call.

Congratulations on doing well in the tournament but St X was far from taking a whipping form both of you and you know it.

Perhaps your boys should have just closed the door. A lot of games' outcomes would change if you could just take out a few plays or a few outs here and there. No excuses

it looks like it proves to show that the cleveland teams are stronger than the hyped up cincinnati boys. ignatius and wj showed it this weekend as they took it to xavier.. i'll give credit to xavier they played well this weekend but still couldnt get the job done

Your right no excuses were meant. I was just responding to the comment that the St X boys took a whipping from each team as that was not the case. Both games were good games.

Actually - X pitching was not as good as it has been this year. I hope they get to see St I's again at the end of the year. St I's is a very good team .

Wow... Are you sure you're not from Fairfield? :D

Losing 11-5 and 13-8 - sounds like they ended up as whippiings to me.

  I admit St X didn't keep two close games close at the end but if you saw the games you would say the same thing.

Any day St. X loses is a great day, any day that ST. X loses TWO games is nervonna.
