the start of this season has been a total dissapointment. there have been alot of errors, and it seems like alot of the kids dont even care. how does every one think the ptc metro race will finish?

I believe the Kent vs. Ravenna game will be a huge tell of the PTC. If Kent takes two wins away monday and tuesday then the league will be won by Kent. If Ravenna splits with Kent or if Ravenna takes both the league is wide open.

The kids do care and are very disappointed in how the season has started, but have we have heard a lot of complaints about the coaching. Bad decisions have been made and instead of the coaches taken the blame they have blamed the players. Coaches can't intimidate their players, they won't get results coaching like that.

field is 5-4 they lost twice to springfield and split with waterloo in a double header. But you cant blame the coaching for the losses the coaches arent the ones who play the game
Cody Umbright is a stud, however he has no defense behind him when he pitches. I mean he can only k up so many.
Field has some talent and a good 1-2 punch in Umbright and Boggs on the mound. They also have Cory Y. and Mccutcheon. Outside of those 4 I don't know how much they have. Defense wins games-period. C2 is correct in saying you can only strikeout so many. The ball will be put into play and you MUST make the plays to be successful.
