The Cougars get a complete game two hitter from Brian Sorrell
Lebanon 12 (6-3)
Beavercreek 2 (6-2)
Lebanon's first inning -- leadoff homerun, three Beavercreek errors and a two-out 3-run HR -- was all it needed. Lebanon began the game with a homer, and ended it with a two-run shot in the sixth to make it a run-rule game.

Gruver did pitch. Gun had him up to 91. Jackson just managed to hit him just enough to win. Fitch couldn't get anything going against Chapman

Go 'Cats!
However, do you think they can keep simply outscoring every team they play? It's great to get 7 runs, but it's not so great to give up 6.
Davidson seems to be involved in high scoring games an awful lot. That strikes me as dangerous when it comes to tournament play, and all it takes is one off game offensively to get into a whole heap of trouble very quickly.

Strasburg 5
Records—Strasburg 0-5 in IVC; Malvern 10-1, 6-0.
Notes—Malvern's Sean Kettering drove in the tying run with a double in the bottom of the seventh. He later scored the winning run on a wild pitch.

Keep in mind Davidson has two pitchers that have already thrown no hitters this year. So, if you have two guys you can count on come tournament time, I'd say you are in good shape. That is a very deep team with a lot of bats. They are a little shaky beyond their first two or three arms. So, I'd say through out the regular season you will see them give up some runs.
