I would like to think Stow is going to win the River division but I have my doubts. The talent is there and they have a load on talent who are sophomores and freshman. But I hear that the new coach there is only going to play juniors and seniors. Big mistake if you ask me.
Why is Stow NOT in the upper division ( Valley) of the NOC?

Who is the one that declares which division is the "upper division". Looks to me as if the river and valley are pretty even. Doesn't it take 2 years before the divisions realign, right now I think things are set up pretty much towards geography. I think after this season things may switch up a bit.
The who is the league itself-Valley is the upper division River middle and Lake is lower. Not debatable but fact.

C. Falls has the River for sure. Last year they split with stow but this year they have a huge pitching staff and are still a very solid team even with the losses of last year. Fall's biggest losses are K. moles pitcher who is now with mount union, pitcher Dave (can't remember his last name trying to walk on for kent state), and matt rorke (not sure with spelling) who was the CF and playing for Liberty in WV. The coaching is solid with Farrel who pitched for Kent State and played minor along with a deep staff of ex-college and minor league players.

stow has some solid seniors led by Alex loftin and alex haines but they're hitting doesn't happen much beyond mike burrowbridge and the junior class isn't to good. but i do recall alex loftin throwing a no hitter vs. falls last year. i think stow has a lot of talent on the pitching staff to win the division . my friend is a sophomore at stow and he said he might get some time. bulldogstaff you might know him. kevin jovanovich, I take hitting lessons with him he is a big lefty hitter and. solid catcher.

C.Falls can get one win from stow fro sure but don't know if they can get by Alex. The C.Falls baseball coach is Alex's pitching coach and summer league coach so that should help out. Who would of though Alex would come out of Ravenna.
