well only one thing I do not agree with. Centerville over Wayne? The Warriors will be a force returning stewart and messinger... Centerville is always a good team, but they don't seem to be returning much this year?

You know the Central is a real mystery to me. I don't much about Centerville Baseball, but I see they won the Central Title last season.
Wayne had Ryan Ashe last season and he was a huge part of their team. Wayne beat Sidney 9-4 last season to give Sidney their 2nd loss.
Regardless whos 1 or 2 in the Central. I'm willing to bet it will be either one of those teams to win the Central again.
In the North Division it's a 3 team race, Sidney, Butler and Northmont.
South looks like it's Springboro's to lose, maybe Lebanon as the surprise team this season.
North has the potential to have a decent year. South will probably win 1 game again. My Wildcats return a lot, but that means nothing when your talking about South baseball.
GO SOUTH!!!!!

Well it's officially Baseball Season now since my team's Basketball season is over.
I smell the Spring rapidly approaching!

Fortunately for me, Sidney's best sport is Baseball.
The only sport we compete consistently in, although last year was unexpected and probably one of the best Sidney Baseball teams ever in School history. (Single Season Wins Record 24, 1st trip to Districts since 1993.)
I can't wait for this season, should be just as strong or stronger only losing 1 Starter from last season.
Maybe we can get that District Title this year or perhaps beyond that!

Precisely...But Is it not accurate????
I know the GWOC North rankings are Accurate.
I wasn't sure about the GWOC Central, Wayne and Centerville could flip-flop.
Springboro looks like clear favorites in the GWOC South.

If you go to the main GWOC site:
http://www.gwocsports.com/
In the "gray" bar near the top of the page click on the "links" button.
Team schedules appear for various years. Click on the appropriate year and then select your sport. You'll get the "GWOC" schedule for your team. Non conference games generally are "not" listed.

Yeah, I think he already has the Conference games, He's looking for the Complete schedule.

Yeah, it's a big deal when South gets over .500. The almost did Brennan Glass' senior year, and here recently that is about it. Actually, it seems that South is good when their is a Glass on the South team. His dad and brothers were very good as well.
But, you take what you get. Hopefully we play Trotwood.
GO SOUTH!!!!!

Poor Trotwood just can't get it going in Baseball!
Sadly, This is the only sport that we can laugh at the Rams for.

I have been checking there and on Highschoolsports.net to try and get the Wayne schedule figured out. Called the school and they said it wasn't in the computer yet, hence it wasn't online.
We are going to see which games we can get on the radio...probably a smattering of dates because the start times are a bit inconvenient for our volunteers to get there from their day jobs. I'm definitely looking at the games vs. Centerville, and most likely Fairmont and/or Beavercreek.

I'm ready for Wayne this season, The Warriors come to play at our house this time. I know the Sidney players don't forget that 9-4 loss to Wayne in Huber Heights.

Sounds like a good rematch this year. There's no way I could make that trip, but maybe I can poll Link and Kevin and see if they can make the trip to cover Wayne @ Sidney.

I believe Nic Waters still has a couple games from his suspension at the end of last season.
I don't know much about any other players being suspended.
You may know more than I do at this point.

For the most part, yes, but we will be down by at least one because his kids' activities overlap with the game times.
So far, I'm looking at the following dates:
Saturday 4/5 -- Baseball -- Wayne vs. Edgewood (doubleheader) 11:00 AM
Saturday 4/12 -- Softball -- Wayne @ Tipp City (doubleheader) 12:00 PM
Tuesday 4/15 -- Softball -- Wayne @ Centerville 5:00 PM
Wednesday 4/16 -- Baseball -- Wayne vs. Springboro 5:00 PM
Friday 4/25 -- Baseball -- Wayne @ Centerville 5:00 PM
Tuesday 4/29 -- Baseball -- Wayne @ Butler 5:00 PM
Friday 5/2 -- Baseball -- Wayne @ Fairmont 5:00 PM
Wednesday 5/7 -- Baseball -- Wayne vs. Centerville 5:00 PM
This schedule is of course subject to change...pending arrangements with the host sites for road games, available people to produce the broadcasts, and of course there is always the fun of dealing with rain-outs and things of that nature. We should be able to get microwave shots back to our studio from all of these sites, so the audio should be nice and clear as well (no cell phone broadcasts, yayyy).
Games will air on FM 97.7 (covering northern Huber Heights, Vandalia, and southern Miami County) and FM 101.5 (Southern Huber Heights and Northern Montgomery County).

That could have been my mistake if he was going off the schedule I posted on the schedule thread. I had Buter playing Wayne the 11 and 28, but it is scheduled for the Freshman teams. I though when I first posted them they were under the Varsity section, but I guess not

Just to clarify on this one, it's not actually "in stone" so to speak. This game does not appear on the official schedule. This game is tentatively on the schedule. In the event of rainouts, and the need to "pick a game up", this game will be played. Obviously with Ohio weather being what it is this time of year, there is a possibility this game will see the light of day. But in the event that the schedule was played without any rainouts, this game would not be played.

I will keep that in mind. Obviously if it's played, it's such a good matchup that we want to carry that game if it is on. Otherwise, we'll leave that date open since we are doing a Friday game that week, or we will maybe add the 5/3 DH with Miamisburg at Wayne.

Without a doubt one of the better baseball rivalries in the area. This would be a great game to carry. The last game between these two that you guys carried was a good one!!
