The Ohio Longhorns 18U Baseball Team is looking for 2 or 3 additional players to complete their roster for 2008.

The Longhorns will be members of the Greater Akron Baseball Association (GABF) and will play in 25-30 regular season games.We will also participate in the Black Swamp Classic in Bowling Green, and the Beast of the East Tournament in Wheeling WV.

As of now, our roster includes varsity players from Woodridge, Green. Cuyahoga Falls, Firestone and Tallmadge. All home games will be played at Woodridge High School.

Longhorns: Unless you go by another name I did not see you in any of the pools for the Black Swamp 18U. If I am mistaken my bad but i was looking to see what pool you were in and did not see your name.

Thats correct, we did not get into the Black Swamp Classic. And I don't believe we go by any aliases. The date of that post was an entire month before the pool came out. At that time, we were planning on having enough money in and submit an application. We also were not aware that they only took 20 teams. But we are planning on attending the Beast of the East, Jackson Hall of Fame Tournament, and probably another local one. But thanks for keeping me in check AmericaOne.
