It's already been confirmed that there will be another Star Trek movie, probably to come out in 2008. There is no title yet, but they already have a director. Now I've heard various things about the plot, one of which is that the movie will take place in the mirror universe, and that captains Kirk, Picard, and Archer will all be there. However, Kirk and Picard (I think) are going to be younger, so William Shatner and Patrick Stewart will not be playing the roles.

As a Star Trek fan, I'll go see it, but I'll be disappointed if Stewart isn't in the film.

Actually Ive heard its going to be a prequel, which seems to be the popular thing to do with movies that have a series these days....But guess we'll see.
