How many fans will Hilliard Davidson bring to Kent State?

For the Ohio vs USA challenge at Kent State, how many fans will Hilliard Davidson likely bring to the event?

I'm just curious how well this event will go. Kent State holds about 30,000...not sure of the total since they remodeled. With Massillon and St Edward, they should get a good amount but I doubt very many from out of state will show up.

I'll be there, but I only think 4000-5000 folks will show up from Hilliard. That's about how many were there for the state semifinal against St. X.

Both Kent & Oxford are fairly out of the way places for people from suburban Columbus.

Now that this has game been shifted to Massillon, I'm curious how that will affect Hilliard attendance. It might attract some more Hilliard Darby folks, since they've been playing Massillon Perry & they're familiar with the Massillon area.

BG, did you attend any of the Darby games at Perry? How many Panther faithful made it up there?

I'd think a trip to Massillon would be more interesting to Hilliard fans in general than a trip to Kent. However, it won't be as convenient as the trip to Mason, which is right off of I-71.

Now that I think about it, I can't recall Davidson making so many long distance trips. I guess that's what having a DeSales guy as the head coach will do. :laugh:
