Week 7: Center Grove

Center Grove (9-0) beat Cathedral (8-1) last Friday 21-6 to finish the season undefeated.
Both teams are favored to repeat as state champs in their divisions (CG in 6A, Cathedral in 5A)

In 6A CG plays Franklin (4-5) then smooth sailing in next 2 games to win their region.
Then likely face Carmel in the semis and Westlake in the final

In 5A Cathedral plays Terre Haute North (3-6) in round 1 and should win the title again

CG finished the season 9th in the country in MaxPreps while Cathedral finished 37th.
 
No trophies for national rankings nor are the rankings sanctioned...and never will be unless of course, we start paying kids(18+) and/or their parents. Never know might happen...some of these Booster programs have TONS of $$$ but right now, only the HCs & some select assistants make 'real' money.
