The Warrior Relays featured frigid temperatures, rain, snow, sleet, strong winds and two dominant teams Saturday at Walsh Jesuit High School.
Wadsworth and Solon emerged as the top two teams in the boys-only track-and-field meet. It came down to the final event, the 1,600-meter relay, to determine a team winner.
The Grizzlies held a half-point lead over the Comets entering the 21st event.
Wadsworth seniors Anthony Schrock, Jacob Sussman, Neal Iles and Jake Hiltner won the 1,600 in a time of 3:27.38, with Solon finishing second, to secure the team victory.
