Finally, the time for change has come! We as parents of this program must demand a higher level of coaching be put in place. Copley softball has been the joke of the Suburban League for far too long. Why do Green and Tallmadge have great teams each and every year? It all starts with a program that grabs these girls at a young age,and gives them the chance to play at a higher level. High school coaches must put value on these programs and encourage participation, not belittle them and make jokes about it. Next time your in the gym check out how many softball banners are on display.
