Final Comments:
We are still a young team, but we are talented and hungry. We return 2 seniors who have anchored our lineup since 2022 in Jordan Desmone (2nd team All-SWC) and Kate Vormelker (HM ALL-SWC), while junior Sydney Busser had a breakout sophomore season in 2023 as our third baseman.

Sophomore Molly Sheehan (HM ALL-SWC) had a solid freshman season as a pitcher, throwing 115 K’s and a no-hitter. She will be joined in the rotation by freshman Ashley Scott with freshman Hailey Klamut and sophomore Sophia Galarza providing depth.

Brooke Largent was leading the team in almost every offensive category when her season was cut short on 4/11, and she was on pace to shatter the school’s runs-scored record. She is back and 100% and was a member of our state champion varsity basketball team this year.

Elena Vroutos started at 2B in 2023, and is competing with fellow sophomore Grace Shorts and freshman Hailey Klamut for the starting SS job. All 3 will likely see action there this year, with the others at 2B and/or OF.

Evie Pemberton is competing for innings at 1B and OF after serving as a backup in 2023, while Galarza and Raegan Desmone, will provide depth. Taylor Vavro will see time at catcher behind Vormelker and could be an outstanding defensive catcher.

Captains: Jordan Desmone, Kate Vormelker, Brooke Largent
