Second-seeded Leopards shoot 5-for-23 from 3-point range, including 1-for-7 in the fourth quarter.

LOUISVILLE As the final seconds ticked away Friday night, an enthusiastic Tallmadge head coach Bill Johnson pumped his fist and quickly moved down the Blue Devils bench, slapping hands with anybody who extended theirs.

On the other end of the court, Louisville head coach Tom Siegfried walked down his bench as well, just much slower and numb from the pain that comes with an earlier-than-expected tournament exit.

The No. 7 seed Blue Devils owned the final six minutes and knocked off second-seeded Louisville 60-50 in a Canton Division II sectional final.

Great game by Tallmadge. The halftime adjustment was on point...make life tough on #40 and attack him to get his 4th foul...both missions accomplished. Kurko and Ayers did an unbelievable job on their big man in the 2nd half. And I think we held their top 3 point shooter to 6 points. This team is so much better than their 12-12 record. I think they catch teams by surprise. No one outside of Tallmadge expected Tallmadge to compete in this game, let alone win by 10. Stay focused this week....we can beat Northwest.
