Top players lost:
Blake Coffman - Team leader in most offensive categories & was a solid pitcher for us.

Kyle Fehring - Starting center fielder all year with only 1 error all year.

New impact players:
Junior - Caleb Tipis - Caleb started Varsity as a sophomore & finished the season for us on SS & did amazing. He will start SS for us this year. Caleb can play any position on the field. His speed & athleticism can be a game changer. He is a great defensive player.

Sophomore - AJ Roy - He made Varsity as a freshman. He will start Varsity for us this year. He will play middle infield, 3B & be a starting pitcher for our team this year. I expect big things, offensively & defensively out of AJ this year.

Sophomore - Braedyn Crone - He made Varsity as a freshman. He’s fighting for a starting spot on Varsity this year. He will pitch, play 1B & RF for us this year. He has the ability to start & be a top 5 hitter for us if he keeps putting the work in.

Freshman - Blake Rugenstein - Blake made Varsity this year. He will play JV & Varsity to start the season. I expect Blake to be full Varsity midway through the season. Blake can play any position on the field. He will catch, pitch play IF & OF for Varsity & JV this year. Blake has the skills to play high level college baseball, if he puts the work in.

Freshman - Alex Williamson - Alex will be on JV to start the season but should see Varsity sometime this season. Alex has speed & power. With hard work & dedication the sky’s the limit for Alex. Alex will also be able to play any position on the field.

Freshman - Ryder Luncan - Ryder will be on JV to start the season but should see Varsity sometime this season. Ryder is tall & athletic. He’s still growing & has a chance to be a dominant pitcher for our team the next 4 years. Ryder is going to be a great hitter & is such a smart player. I expect big things out of Ryder the next 4 years.

Freshman - Tyler Short - Tyler will start the season on JV. He’s a really good left handed pitcher with good mechanics. He was the A teams best pitcher last year. I really like Tyler’s offensive abilities. Tyler has a chance to come up to Varsity this year if he keeps putting the work in. He’s also a very smart player & I expect big things out of Tyler the next 4 years.

Final Comments:
Strengths - Leadership, Defense, Starting Pitching

Weaknesses - Depth, relief pitching.

Our team improved throughout the season last year. We won our first tournament game since 2016. Losing 5 seniors will be tough but we should be much improved this year. Now that I’ve coached most of these young men for a year, they know what I expect from them. We will have great senior leadership & a really good freshman class coming in.
