Final Comments:
The girls have worked hard in the hitting facility over the winter. We are going to bring a lot to the plate this year.. Hit and run, suicide squeeze, bunting, and maybe a few home runs..But I know this… we will put the ball in play and make the other team have to play a strong defense against us! We will be pitching by committee this year but will be led by Leighty, who has the most varsity experience on the staff. I know that she will lead by example! Other pitchers are McAllister, Coleman, and Stahl. (In that order). Defensively we should be good as well.. Especially in the middle and behind the plate. Gould and Coleman play very well at both middle positions. At 3B Pelletier-Harris is quick at attacking bunts and has a strong arm. (She is replacing All-State Lauren Tompkins at 3B)

We will be fast in the OF covering gap to gap with very good arms!

We have to stay within ourselves.. We have the opportunity to be very good … but stay level-headed and not get ahead of ourselves. We have good pitching.. They have to keep the ball low and let the defense play behind them to make the outs and keep the runners off the bases… and of course, we need to score a lot of runs!
