Epstein turned in his resignation earlier this month. He said his decision is largely a result of Tallmadge City School District’s failed levy last November, which created the need for a spending reduction plan.
Epstein, 34, will remain on staff as a physical education teacher at Tallmadge High School and Tallmadge Middle School until the end of the school year. But he will not have a teaching job in the district next fall, which played a major role in Epstein’s decision.
