This new blog is about our show. We have been doing this show for fun in the studio in my barn for a few years but now we have been asked to do the show in public. Our first show was a fantastic success. Here's how it works:

Talent Contest: Limited to 10 contestants
1st place: $200.00
2nd place: $100.00
3rd place: $50.00

Our first show of the season was held at The Sand Pit Cafe and Lounge, 28 Penn St SE in Massillon. First place went to a day care worker who sang two songs and lit the place up!

The next show is Friday February 1st at the Sand Pit from 7-10 PM. $5 cover charge and entry fee. Excellent food and a full bar at the Sand Pit.

GOT TALENT? Contact us through YAPPI and we'll make sure you're included. Performance spots fill up quickly.

If you have talent, this is easy money!

If you would like to participate in the next talent show on Feb 1st, send a private message to me and we'll get you signed up. We are looking for a comedian and any unusual talents. This is a family show. The last show had a 15 year old who sang show tunes. She brought her family and friends and they had an absolute riot.

Footage of acts from the last show are coming soon!

We are very excited to announce the booking of comedian George Blankenhorn to our next talent show. He's very talented and absolutely hilarious.

The following clip is something he did at The Funny Stop in Cuyahoga Falls.

This show is shaping up to be a bigger hit than ever before! Hope to see some Yapsters at The Sand Pit 28 Penn Ave SE in Massillon 7-10 pm on Friday Feb 1.

This is Sean Michael McGonagle at one of last year's shows in my barn. This number is an acoustic version of a song he wrote called Borderline Leaving.

Sean is booked for the show on Feb 1st at The Sand Pit 28 Penn ave SE Massillon from 7-10 with his band, First and Thorne. Although the band has been together for only about a year, they are destined and driven to succeed. Sean has the look of a rock and roller and the demeanor of a solid businessman.

Hope you enjoy this little clip and come on out to the show. 10 performers doing two acts each. Excellent food and full bar!

This is Josiah Myatt of Tallmadge who came out to do his one man band act. This number is one of my personal favorites from Niel Young "Heart of Gold." Though the vocals didn't come through loudly enough, the guitar and harmonica is as though it was Niel himself.

He also is playing a tambourine with one foot and a bass drum with the other. 3rd place 50 bucks.

The Sand Pit is located at 28 Penn Ave SE in Massillon. Next Friday night, February 1st from 7-10 PM.

Awesome food (Moe's chicken) and full bar!

RIDICULOUSLY talented performers!

At 15 years old, Airess Moore is our youngest performer yet. Not only will she get a prize for being the youngest in the show but she has SERIOUS talent and will definitely make waves!

The Sand Pit! Tonight! 7-10 PM. 10 performers all on one stage.

What an amazing show on Friday. The bands were just spectacular and a couple of duets that were really sweet! Even our comedian for the evening split up and did two sets that were pretty stinkin funny.

Used a new video capture device for this show so we're still tryin to figure out how to get it from the unit to the inet but will have film from this event shortly.

Thanks to the performers who made this a sweet event for the Sand Pit and everyone who came out to see the show!
