The Archbishop Hoban Knights used big plays and an opportunistic defense to overcome a stubborn Garfield Rams team Thursday night at Dowed Field.
Senior quarterback Dan Hinton completed touchdown passes of 31 and 60 yards, and defensive back Nate Greczanik returned a Garfield fumble 19 yards for a touchdown to lead the Knights to a 30-13 victory in the season opener for both teams.
