Wasn't there an offensive lineman from 2020 that went to Penn? Don't remember his name

Chase Wolf QB Wisconsin
Had some time to kill this weekend so took a look at how some of the Bombers on this list did this season. Sean Clifford ended up setting multiple records at Penn State and led the team to the upcoming Rose Bowl.
Noah Taylor was the third leading tackler (52) for Cornell this season
Marshall Lang was 5th in receptions with 15 for Northwestern
BJ Ferguson had 21 tackles for Fordham while Alex Kemper has 14 and 2 interceptions
Nathan Arthur was the second in tackles for Dayton with 73
Liam Clifford had 8 receptions for Penn State
Jared Kreimer had 9 tackles for Holy Cross
Chase Wolf saw playing time in two games. The Wisconsin starting QB entered the transfer portal so Chase might have a chance to start in their bowl game.

Great update. Thanks!
I watched Holy Cross lose to South Dakota State a couple weeks back in the quarterfinals of the FCS tournament.
Entertaining game. Kreimer returns punts. I didn't see Kiessling though, he's listed as defensive lineman
SDS plays NDS in the final on 1/8/2023

Amazing to have 36 grads playing college football at such high quality institutions.
Is there a school in Ohio with even half that many?
Testament to how StX pushes players in the classroom and on the field.
All 36 will likely graduate.

When Kuechley left Boston College a year early to play in the NFL, he promised his mom he'd get his college degree in the off season.
He was good on his promise.....can you imagine undergrads seeing the millionaire NFL player on campus and in their class.

Clifford article before tomorrow's Rose Bowl (his final game at Penn State) at Cincinnati.com
"How StX Football Helped Mold Sean Clifford into One of Penn State's All Time Greats"

Some quotes from the article....
"I always had the mindset to play at StX under Coach Specht, a fantastic coach and somebody I always looked up to. I owe him a lot. I owe StX a lot"

"That was one of the best team's (StX 2016 State Champ team his senior year) in terms of leadership I've ever been on in my life. We really stuck together no matter what. We had a lot of injuries that year. To be able to regroup, refresh, and go into the playoffs and have a 5 game run to win a state championship. I know that we're all proud of that moment"

"I thank StX for giving me the work ethic (to make it in college)"

Yes, played the whole game in Wisconsin's 24-17 win over Oklahoma State in his final season.
Stats: 16 for 26 for 116 yards for 1 TD and 1 INT, longest completion was only 20 yards

Chase announced that he is coming back for a 6th year. He is enrolled in the masters program in real estate. He will have a shot to start although Wisconsin signed Tanner Mordecai who posted impressive numbers at SMU the past two years as a starter. Even if Chase doesn't start he continues his free education in a masters program to prepare him for life after football. Best of luck to him

Always good to get a bachelor's and master's degree paid for playing a game you love.
Maybe first year Coach Fickel will give the 6th year senior with little game experience a shot.

Sean Clifford ended up setting multiple records at Penn State and led the team to the upcoming Rose Bowl.
With redshirt and Covid rules, Sean played 6 years at PSU enabling him to set career records and more opportunities for single game records

Had quite a final game as a Nittany Lion leading #11 PSU to a 35-21 win over #8 Utah.
Stat Line: 16 for 22 for 279 yards and 2 TDs, the 88 yard TD pass is a Rose Bowl record.

As a Bomber, Sean was a 3 year starter and is 4th in all time passing yards (4,004), had 20 career rushing TDs, pulled double duty as a long snapper and led StX to their 3rd state championship in 2016

Liam Clifford had 8 receptions for Penn State
With 7:17 to go in the Rose Bowl, Liam Clifford entered the game at WR.
Sean wanted to throw to him on 3rd and 11 but the passing lane was taken away by a Utah defender.

A redshirt freshmen, Liam still has 3 years left at PSU, but was behind 3 other returning WR's
#3 Parker Washington So, 46 catches for 611 yards and 2 TDs
#1 Keandre Lambert-Smith So. 24 catches for 389 yards and 4 TDs
#6 Harrison Wallace R-Fr. 19 catches for 273 yards and 1 TD
#82 Liam Clifford R-Fr. 8 catches for 89 yards
#18 Omari Evans Fr. 5 catches for 55 yards and 1 TD

Offensively PSU is going to be really good for the next few years.
True freshman QB Drew Allar 6’5” 238lb out of Medina is likely 3 year starter

The pair of talented true freshmen RBs Nick Singleton (1,061 yards) and Kaytron Allen (867 yards)

2 returning TEs in sophomore Theo Johnson (20 for 328 and 4 TDs and junior Brenton Strange (32 for 362 yards and 5 TDs)

With returning talent like this James Franklin may be able to bring a Big Ten title to Happy Valley and compete for a national championship

With 58 seconds until the Rose Bowl half, announcer Chris Fowler was able to set booth partner Kirk Herbstreit up to plug StX and son Chase

Fowler: "Clifford’s a tough cat"
Herbie: "Sure is, He went to that powerhouse program down in Cincinnati at StX"
Fowler: "The tradition continues with the fine QB play at StX
Herbie: "Yes it does"
Fowler: "Young Chase........unusual for a young guy like him to play QB at a program like that"

GO X!
