Highland picks up a big 2-1 win over GlenOak tonight, moving us to 4-0 (1-0). Tough opponent, but Highland controlled the game throughout. This team really moves the ball around better then any team we've had in the past. We had way more chances the GlenOak, but just couldn't finish most of them. It was the same case in our 1-0 victory over West Branch to start the year. This is frustrating to see, with as talented of finishers as this team has (Nesic, Goose, ext.)... Still, we've been able to beat two tough programs, and that should continue as we move into SL play. Revere is a huge game next week. Wadsworth, Green and Copley are big ones as well. The Copley game in particular should decide who wins a league title.

I firmly believe this team is a state title contender. As D-II's largest team, we really have been given a great shot to win a state championship these next two years before we will almost surely move up to D-I. If it's going to happen, this may very well be the year.

We should be near the first set of state rankings set to come out here soon...

I can't officially confirm it at this point, but I'm hearing we are ranked #4 in the debut state poll (DII). :thumb:

This would be are 3rd straight year to make the top ten state poll at some point in the season. I think this might be the first time we would make it the opening week.

Copley #10 in DI

Huge game versus Revere Wednesday! #4 vs. #9 in the State!! Would be a huge win as far as SL is concerned. Bay #3 also plays Revere Saturday, so we have the potential to jump way up if things go our way. Get it done boys.

Highland @ Copley tomorrow for everything.

Hornets control their own destiny heading into the last two. Copley and Cloverleaf left... Win both. SLT.

Get it done boys.
