Democrat Cities' Violent news (#4?)

Of course. Our laws are full of them. The issue is the asylum laws suck and allow claims once people have illegally crossed the border. Biden tried to ban that but the courts blocked him from doing so.
They banned him from forgiving student debt as well but he went ahead with it anyway.

They closed the academy to review and improve it. It's back open with a new curriculum and more minorities than ever. It was not turning out the type of police officers the community wanted. The 911 response has been an issue there since 1990's. 011 has half the staff they need. Again, in a move to fix an issue they are restructuring and making changes. Do you think it's a snap of the fingers fix? They move money so they have better resources to remedy a terrible staffing issue. They didn't defund anything. In fact, quite the opposite.
Yeah when I call 911 the most important aspect is the color of the responding officers skin.

So comparing an entire year worth of data to 8 months of data...must be that progressive new math.
He still ignores the obvious - that systemic legal and prosecutorial failure, malfeasance, and misfeasance results in under-reporting of crime, from $900> shoplifting on up

You are wrong as always. That was comparing numbers through the same months. The final numbers have been released. Here you go. LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Violent crime overall in Los Angeles decreased more than 3% in 2023, officials said Wednesday. Shootings were down 10% in 2023 compared to 2022. Homicides were also down by about 17%, from 392 victims in 2022 to 327 last year, according to data released by the Los Angeles Police Department.

For comparison, there were 1,100 murders in LA in 1993

Lies from liars.

Lies from liars.

You are really not smart. None of the data for LA was from the FBI. This is such a partisan BS report. They do not have a single crime stat. All it says is they kinda think maybe the FBI data is incomplete. That has nothing to do with murders in LA or violent crime in LA. Total BS that they think crime is underreported and "It is difficult to measure how much crime is underreported, often ‘downcharged,’ by law enforcement since the number of reported crimes reflects the categorizations of police agencies themselves," the researchers wrote. Total speculation. No stats. Murder is not an underreported or downgraded crime that is skewed by "undercharging". This is an opinion piece as per usual. If they actually researched anything, they could say that there were X number of something compared to the reported Y number. And, just because a department doesn't directly report to the FBI, the FBI can still get that info.

Nevermind. LOL.

CPD said there were 617 murders in Chicago last year, down from 709 in 2022.
The number of shootings is also down, with 2,452 shootings in 2023 and 2,829 shootings in 2022.
The number of shooting victims in 2023 was 2,883, down from 3,484 in 2022.

So far in 2024, shootings and murders are down 20% from last year at the same time.

9 million people live in Chicago..

Seems like progress. Always good to see the numbers coming down.

Plantation workers keep the spin going.

If you truly believe crime isn't under-reported, and the way crime is tallied hasn't been massaged to present a more favorable narrative, you're dumber than I thought.

Since the vast majority of crime occurs on the Democrat controlled plantations, I couldn't give a chit less. People don't feel safe for good reason. It's absolutely a priority issue with voters, and we will continue to hammer it home. You people will pay a price for your blind eye this Fall.

Write that down.

Said another way, you are right and since I am wrong, I no longer care. MAGA doctrine.

This is a lie…. And easily found with a little search. LA stopped reporting violent crime to FBI, when you look at data provided.

“900 unhoused deaths” weren’t reported. Some of those were murdered.

Democrats way to lie to their constituents to keep power.

Wasn't using FBI numbers. Those are actual LAPD numbers. See where it says " according to data released by the Los Angeles Police Department." But you go ahead and use News Nation as your source. If you actually did any research you would find the lie is that you state the 900 unhoused deaths were not reported. They absolutely were." City officials shared about 900 unsheltered people died on the streets of Los Angeles in 2023. Macy Jenkins reports for the NBC4 News on March 28, 2024. The City Controller's Office released a map of unhoused deaths in 2023 using data obtained from the County Medical-Examiner Coroner.Mar 28, 2024"

"About 40, or 4%, homeless people were murdered in 2023, accounting for 12% of all homicides in the city. Unhoused people represent about 1% of the population." So, yeah those 40 murders were accounted for in the stats.

FBI also has reported cities don’t report 100% of crimes. But you go on and believe that they do.

You were wrong. You were proven wrong. The same issues with 100% accurate reporting has been there for decades. Violent crime is always going to be an issue, but it is much less of a problem than it was in the 80's, 90's etc... It's coming down overall and you believing it's not is wrong. Very interesting how you will believe that car theft and property crime is up, but violent crime can't be down. Why would people report their car being broken into, but not that they were assaulted?

Statistics is the worse kind of Math….. 1 variable change can get you any outcome you want.

Shall I do the same???
So, math is an issue for you? You make decisions based on just feel and disregard information? Pretty sure when LAPD says 900 homeless died and 40 of them were victims of murder, they aren't just throwing out a stat. It's not just an educated guess.

I would like for you to take 900 dead and 40 of the 900 being murdered and change a variable that makes it so that none of the 40 were murdered. That's the outcome I want, so make that happen with just changing one variable used in the math.

Stop it. You are hurting their little brains.
