Newark Catholic defeats Hebron Lakewood 40-0

Luck did not look to be on the side of the powerful Wave as they would lose a very good player Damon Buchanan (sr 6'0" 175) during warm ups, as an old injury would flair up.

Lakewood's stud running back Randall Adkins (sr 6'0" 195) would not play because of missing two pratices, this info was told to be by a lakewood player.

Newark catholic would start strong and never let up. It all started with great defense and a super human effort by the offensive line led by the Wagner brothers, Andrew (sr 6'1" 210) and Stephen (sr 6'1" 225) and big Brad Petticrew (6'2" 245). Kyle "The Show" Williamson (sr 6'1" 205) would have a great night scoring six touchdowns, after scoring 5 last week.

Lakewood needed to come out strong in the third, but the Greenwave defense had other plans as "The Show" would get an interception and the offense would pick up where it left off.

Williamson would make a sweet run from 16 yards out but this time Biddle missed the extra point. Newark Catholic led 27-0 with 8:37 left in the third.

The offensive line would destory Lakewood's line and Williamson would race 46 yards for another score. With the extra point, it was 34-0 with 5:46 left in the third.

The last Newark Catholic score would come with four seconds left in the third, as "The Show" would go in from the six. The point after was blocked and the score would be 40-0 heading into the final frame.
